Hello,
I’m a PhD candidate in the Operations & Decision Technologies department at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, advised by Christopher Chen and Fei Gao. My research interests lie at the intersection of nonprofit operations management and behavioral operations management. I am passionate about understanding how the decisions and actions of various stakeholders - including donors, volunteers, and managers - impact the operational performance of nonprofit organizations.
In my research, I employ a range of methodologies, including online and field experiments as well as empirical data analysis, to glean insights into volunteer management, fundraising strategies and applications of artificial intelligence in the social sector. Through my work, I aim to provide actionable recommendations that enable nonprofits to enhance their operational efficiency and effectiveness in fulfilling their missions.
Prior to joining the PhD program, I received my bachelor’s degree in business from the Kelley School of Business, where I majored in supply chain management and business analytics.
I am on the 2024-2025 academic job market.
